The cottage, which has been restored to a high level, is fully double glazed with traditional style exterior shutters and is offered for rent fully furnished. The cottage is set over two floors and is situated in a peaceful area with good views over the countryside. The cottage provides ample living accommodation for either short term holiday lets or longer term living.
Pets are welcome at the cottage and there is a large walled garden to ensure their safety. The cottage has an open plan living room and kitchen with a tiled floor. There is a traditional style Salamander log burner which provides sufficient heat for the entire cottage during the winter months. There is a te*ion, dvd player, video and selection of games, books, cds and videos for the pleasure of guests.
The kitchen is fully fitted and has a good range of purpose built wooden base and eye level units. The work surfaces are granite and the kitchen appliances are integral. There is an electric oven, four ring gas hob, extractor fan and a low level fridge with ice box as well as a microwave, toaster, coffee maker and kettle. The cottage also has a low level freezer which is housed in an adjacent utility building along with washing machine, ironing and drying facilities.
The bathroom is situated off the living room and is partially tiled. The bathroom has a traditional style wooden beamed ceiling and there is a shower, toilet and pedestal sink. There are two bedrooms, which are situated on the first floor.
The first floor accommodation is accessed via a wooden staircase. There is a spacious and light double bedroom. This room is fully furnished with double bed, wardrobes chests of drawers and bedside cabinets. The second bedroom is a twin room with two single beds, wardrobes, chests of drawers and bed side cabinets.
The cottage has several private exterior patio areas and use of the large walled garden. Longer term tenants are welcome to cultivate the garden to grown their own produce. The cottage has it's own private parking area and entrance. The cottage is situated within a country location though is only two minutes drive from the village of Martinchel, which has several cafes, restaurants, mini-market and bakers.
