This building was built in 1898 and it is stone. Starting on the ground floor, there is a 2-roomed shop totalling 50sq.m. The front room has a new double glazed shop front and a high ceiling, with new non-slip flooring. The back room has new flooring and a feature fireplace, with double glazed window looking on to yard at the back. There is a separate door into the shop at the front, with a door into the house if the new owner wishes to keep that. There is water and electricity into the shop. Moving into the house, the house has a separate door walking into a hallway with Victorian features and walking into the back of the house into a large utility room with a double sink. The back door walks into a yard with huge garage door, very private. Walking downstairs takes you into a 3-roomed basement, ideal for storage and/or a workshop. Going up the stairs to the first floor takes you to bedroom one (a single bedroom) with new double glazed window and featured glass blocks window. Next to that is a bathroom (bath, toilet, sink with water heater in cupboard), again double glazed with wooden ceiling and tiled. Next is the kitchen, fitted in 2000 modern, with gas hob, electric oven, sink, room for a dining table with 4 chairs (which I am happy to leave). Then there is the lounge 16' X 17' with a MARBLE fireplace, wondow seat which looks out to Morecambe Bay, high ceiling, fitted wooden shelving and TV cabinet. The whole house is carpetted with wool carpetting fitted in 2000. Moving onto floor two we find bedroom 2 which is en-suite (toilet and sink) with double bed I am happy to leave, at least 12' X 12'. Then there is bedroom three which is decorated for a boy with colourful boys drawers and wardrobe from IKEA that we are planning to leave. All curtains will also be left. Then you move into the master front bedroom which has a balcony outside, fitted IKEA white wardrobes and cupboard (this was 2 bedrooms knocked into 1, it is huge). There is a cupboard under the stairs for storage. Finally you walk upstairs to bedroom 5 which is an attic bedroom getaway for a teenager again fits a double bed with plenty of room - all the bedrooms are very large) and a storage area, newly plasterboarded, off the attic bedroom. Owner moving due to work, reluctantly!

Area Information

Morecambe has been re-generated, one hour on train to Manchester, 3 hours on train to London, one hour drive up to Lake District, half an hour from Blackpool driving. The famous Midland Hotel opens again in June, around the corner. The new retail park has opened with Next and Homebase next to Morrisons, around the corner. The beach is 100yards away. The street is very busy and ideal for a business!
