Located in Opatijathis 4 star villa overlooks the town centre of Opatija and the Adriatic sea. Surrounding the grounds are other private houses and villas. A gated private driveway leads to the reception and parking area. The villa was built in 2004 and features quality craftsmanship throughout. Opatija is a leading Adriatic seaside and health resort with a rich heritage. Villa Marija is located on Nova Cesta in the town of Opatija, only 350 m from the famous 12 km boardwalk Lungomare which has many beaches and coves. The sea, the town center, nice shops and a big supermarket are all within 5-15 minute walking distance. Fine restaurants include the Yacht Club and Bevanda in Opatija, Plavi Podrum (one of the world's 100 best restaurants) and Le Mandrac in Volosko as well as Kukuriku in Kastav.
Nature is also close-by. Hiking trails begin 100 meters from Villa Marija and lead into the forest and to the beautiful nature park Učka (which has a top elevation of almost 1,400 m).
Opatija is one of the most popular tourist resorts in Croatia and a place with the longest tourist tradition on the eastern coast of the Adriatic. Opatija became an elite summer resort with a 12km-long promenade called Lungomare which goes from from Volosko via Opatija to Lovran. An equally impressive mountain path runs through the forested hills from Opatija to Veprinac and farther to Ucka.
