| The famous Skiathos island is in Sporades islands complex, in the Aegean Sea. The island's coastline includes about 65 sandy beaches, inlets, capes and peninsulas. There is a regular all-year long boat service to the island and the rest of the Sporades islands with departures from Thessaloniki, Volos and Agios Konstantinos. As of summer 2011, Skiathos International Airport is regularly served by Olympic Air flights from both Athens and Thessaloniki, while foreign airlined provide numerous charter flights from a range of airports of European countries. Skiathos has been a successful and popular tourist destination for foreign citizens since 1960. The hotel is located near the Katsarou area, 800m far from Vasilias beach, 5.5klm from the airport and the port and 2.5klm from the town center. The bus station is only 500m away from the hotel, providing ideal access to all the best of Skiathos beaches, such as Koukounaries, Achladies and Vasilias. |
