About this 1 - Unusual
The complex of All Saints Church and Carmelites‘ Monastery was built at the beginning of the XVII century. In 1855 the monastery was closed and its premises were turned into flats. The complex of All Saints Church and Carmelites‘ Monasteryis a complex of Renaissance style, stilldominating by Baroque style and Classicism buildings (with the incorporated fragments of Gothic architecture). The complex was formed at the edge of the Old Town, near the Rūdininkai Gate. The flat is on the second floor, in a long narrow arched two-stored block of the monastery in All Saints Street. The premises have various spans: cross arches, cylindrical arches with stays and flat ceiling, the roof is two-pitched. The block of the monastery yard has a volumetric dormer window. The decorative painting of the Baroque arch is conserved. The window frames are of wood. A part of wooden constructions in the attic over the flat is authentic.
