| Ohrid tourist area is one of the most developed parts of our country. The old part of Ohrid is a real archaeological wealth, living proof of the cultural competition between the civilizations. High on the hill, as a crown above the old part of the city, raises the citadel.
The oldest written evidence of the fortress date from the year 476, which describe the city and its two entrances: The Upper Gate and The Lower Gate.
