| Aby itself is surrounding by open farmland and is perfectly situated for long country walks. There is also a fishing pit in the village which is popular amongst fisherman. There is a lovely village pub that serves great food and has friendly atmosphere; there is also a small primary school that can be found in the village which presently has around 50 pupils. For older children there is a school bus service every weekday into Alford which has a larger primary school, a comprehensive secondary school which has technology status and a excellent grammar school which caters for secondary school pupils and sixth form pupils, this school also has business school status. |
