| Rebecq is a quiet little town in the countryside at only 20min from Brussels. If you want to bypass peak-hour traffic, you can take a direct train from the nearby city of Halle which will take you to the heart of Brussels in only 15min.
Rebecq is renowned for its green meadows and hills which are a walker's or cyclist's paradise. There is a large network of little country roads for those who like to be outdoors. The house is in fact at the edge of a bird-refuge where lots of rare birds can be observed. Nevertheless the town offers all amenities such as 3 bakeries, 2 butchers, restaurants, schools, banks etc. A local supermarket is at only a 3-min drive from the house.
The house lies a bit higher than the quiet street, overlooking a friendly neighbourhood. Children will be safe there to play outdoors. After a hard day's work, nothing's more enjoyable than to come home to a haven of rest.
