The houses are located in a rural scenic area next to a working farm. There are walking and mountain biking trails right outside the houses. Set in the Regional Natural park of Haut-Languedoc there are mountain lakes for swimming in the summer months. The famous GR36 walking route passes right by the houses.
The beautiful town of Castres is less than 20 minutes drive. Carcassonne and Toulouse are an hours drive and both have airports with international flights all year round. The Cathar city of Albi is 45 minutes drive.
