| The village is a mere three kilometers. The local school bus will pick the children up from your driveway and bring them back home safely each day. The medieval market town of Chateau Gontier, a very accessible seven kilometers. So, although the property is surrounded by peaceful countryside, it is only a few minutes’ drive from schools, post office, banks, supermarkets, shops, garages, restaurants, builders merchants etc. In fact, everything you need. The river Mayenne runs through Chateau Gontier, so you can fish or hire a boat, or perhaps find your own mooring spot. The Mayenne region is famous for horse breeding and race tracks. There is something for everyone to do in this area – from theatre to concerts, golf to water sports and so much more both for adults and children.
