This semi-detached cottage dates from 1901, and has been upgraded and completely renovated in 2004. Because of its age the lay-out is somewhat special. The entrance door is situated at the back, which is actually in the north-facing garden, which measures 11 meters long and 4 meters wide with a small shed in the back.
The entrance hall has a double cupboard of which one holds the 2004 combination heating/hot water boiler which runs on town gas. There is a door to the bathroom which is fully tiled and holds a toilet, washbasin and shower and has the amenities for a washing machine.
Further you’ll find the door that leads to the kitchen and living space, which are connected to each other and have a total length of 11 meters. The kitchen area is about 2 meters wide and the living area is 4.5 meters wide. The kitchen has a cooker, with electric oven. The cooker has a gas hob. There is a built in dishwasher and a separate fridge/freezer combination which was bought in 2005.
The floor in the kitchen and hallway are done in floor tiles. De living/dining area has whitewash laminate flooring. All walls are plain and painted. In the living area there is a spiral staircase to the first floor where you find two bedrooms – one with simple laminate flooring, a big window and loads of storage space underneath a sloping roof and storing space in a niche. The other bedroom has carpet flooring and French doors leading to a roof terrace overlooking the garden. In this bedroom there is a connection to hot and cold water. Currently this is coupled to a bidet, but this can easily be transformed to be used as a washbasin.
There is no second floor, nor an attic in this simple cottage.
