Crete Milatos Beach New Build Detached House on Elevated Walled Plot with Incredible Sea View & Direct Access to Tarmac Road

New build detached concrete frame house on its own plot with direct access to the tarmac community road between Sissi and Milatos in NE Crete.

House is under construction and is has been rendered inside and out, first fix electrics have also been completed.

We are currently building two houses on adjacent plots, one for our own full time occupation (retired) and this house which we are offering for sale.

I am acting as Project Manager for both house builds, being resident nearby, I employ specialist trades for each part of the build and this is working well to create a good quality build. Likewise the standard of fittings will be of a high standard, double glazed allum doors and windows, concealed wall mounted toilets, German concealed thermostatic shower valves and fully pumped water system.

The house is best suited to a very comfortable retirement or holiday home for a couple who want to live in luxury surroundings. We have purposely created the maximum space for a couple, the first floor is given over to the master bedroom with large en-suite, waking to the incredible sea view as shown in the picture below and having direct access to the upstairs balcony where could be situated an inviting hot tub (optional).

The ground floor is open plan, to the rear a Kitchen, toilet (private obviously!) dining area and to the front a full width lounge with 5.5 metre wide glass sliding doors to another terrace and the wonderfull sea view. Upstairs is accessed by a feature spiral staircase from the lounge.

It is hoped that we can find a purchaser before we get much further along the build process, this would give them some input into the finishes, kitchen units and work surfaces,wall and floor tiles, internal colour scheme etc.

As you will see below there are five pictures of the house to date (30.07.08), we have also kept a picture diary of the build to date and will happily forward any pictures that may help you of the house or the surroundings.

We would be looking for a 20% payment on initial signing of the sales contract and the balancing 80% on completion which will be early 2009. If the property is not sold it will be finished to the same high standard but to our taste and rented for the 2009 season.

Progress on our house has been very good and we are looking to move in at the end of August, see revised pictures below.
