The beautiful areas of the „Mosel“ (Bernkastel 70 km and Trier 60 km) and the “Rhine” (Koblenz 100 km and Cologne 100 km) are very close by too!
The well-known formula 1 racing course “Nürburgring” is 50 km away.
The international airports Köln-Bonn (110 km), Frankfurt-Hahn (100 km), Luxembourg (120 km) and Frankfurt Rhein/Main (230 km).
You can reach the Eifel from Great Britain in 4 hours by car! The Eifel is a wonderful hilly and natural countryside with large forests, with volcanic lakes and mountains, that offers you a high recreation value!
The real estate is located at the calm outskirts of Stroheich (approx. 460 metres over sealevel). Stroheich is a small Eifel community with approx. 370 inhabitants near the cities Daun and Gerolstein.
Gerolstein as well as the district town Daun have a good infrastructure; Gerolstein additionally has a railway station (Cologne-Trier).
The natural landscape, formed by volcanos, in forest-rich altitude is very scenic and for hikers and nature lovers an attractive place of excursion. The famous Maare (volcanic crater lakes) can be reached in few kilometers just like the large forest areas, romantic hiking trails and cycle tracks and much more besides! |
