History
The area of our present work has got rich historical industrial roots originated in 18th century when iron metallurgy started its development in the region Horehronie. The greatest boom and importance was reached after 1826 when the iron works in Pohorelá were inherited by Ferdinand Coburg.
Strategic location
This manufacturing areal is located in the region of Horehronie, in Pohorelská Maa 75 km southbound from Banská Bystrica. In the north i tis rinhged with the Low Tatras so you can enjoy a beatiful view onto Kráľová Hoľa . In the south i tis surrounded with the Slovak Rudohorie including a conservated area of the Muranska Plateau.
Utilities
Area dimensions of 72,056 m2 include a built area of 37,506 m 2 and permanent grassy coppicies of 34,550 m2. This areal is suitable and useful both for an industrial production and storage spaces. This fenced complex consists of manufacturing halls , sanitary facilities, garages , and a gatekeeper s lodge. It is laid on electric energy , water and gass suply as well as canalization. It is also accessible from main road.
A part of the areal can be used for recreational purposes , especially winter sports. It is situatedan a bottom of the nortern ski slope , 980 m above the sea. At present the hill has got a functional TATRAPOMA ski tow in the length of 1,300 m but it is not artificially covered with snow. It is also drawn up a route proposal for a chair lift in the length of 1,600m. So visitors can get on the lifts within an offerred areal. 50 km northwest there is a thermal swimming pool Aquacity Poprad, 30km westwards a ski centre Chopok and a golf course Gray Bear Tále.
