I have spent many Summers in this village and I can safely say that trains don't go by very often and quite slowly too, to pass through the station nearby (every couple of hours or so and none at night so most people around the lake don't mind living close to the line as the advantage is being so close to the lake!)

| It's located within a couple of minutes walking distance of the largest lake in central Europe, Lake Balaton and it is surrounded by a very charming village filled with vineyards and fruit trees. It is probably one of the more prestigious locations along the coast of Balaton as it is near the health spas and lake, historical town, forts, hiking trails, nature reserve cycling routes and Fly Balaton Airport which is Ryanair's port of call.
Tourists flock here to enjoy the scenery, taste the fine wines, excellent food and explore Hungary's rural charm, so even when you don't want be there yourself, it's a sound business investment. And since they have been a member of the European Union their house prices have been rising at a excellent rate to get in line with the rest of Europe.
