Like many of you, i am interested in the property market abroad but would like to have as much information as i can before the big jump:)

I noticed a big interest in properties in Morocco. I am myself moroccan living in the UK and i am quite pleased to see people expressing interest in my country. I can only confirm that Morocco is a gorgeous country, blessed by the good weather and stunning views whether you are visiting the atlantic/mediterranean coast, the atlas mountains or the desert!! and yes the property market has not yet expanded so houses are really not expensive at all! so, you defenitely would not be disappointed.

My question however to the experts is how to buy in Morocco? knowing that there are no estate agencies like in the UK:( From what i remember, people look in newspaper adverts or hire some sorts of "unofficial" agent who would be in contact with vendors and buyers and would get a commission for that.

My 2nd question is how easy is it to open an estate agency in Morocco? if anyone has any information about the legal procedures, the best places for this kind of business i would be grateful to them for sharing it ;)
