I'm moving abroad towards the end of the year. We're to Dubai, but I was just wondering where exactly everyone thinks is the best place to change their currency? There are so many places, I figured someone here might be able to recommend one.

There are quite a few places we've used. Money4Less is always good, they offer a good rate but to be honest they one we always use is Money Corp. Plus they're doing a deal where if you join now and enter the code NOTT when you register you get to make free money transfers around the world. ANyway if you want the details, give me a shout.

Dubai? Lucky you, it's great. It's such a cool place. Great bars. Anyway when I went I used Money Corp and they were great. I got totally stranded out there and my Mum had to keep making money transfers and blah blah blah. Anyway whereas the banks would have charged us loads of comission, Money Corp offered us a deal where you can make them for free. I think you just have to type in NOTT when you register and you get it for life. So basically, yeah, that's my advice!

they work on low margin levels so you get more euro etc per gbp.

some brokers work on commsions and take a larger amounts while interchage only take very very little, ive used them they are good.
currency rates tend to dip in the holiday season so keep checking the rates as i was able to get 1.47€ per gbp compared to taodays rates which are a lot lower you will be surprised how much each point affect the conversion rate.
