| The Area:
The village is part of Veliko Tarnovo district. Veliko Tarnovo was the first capital of Bulgaria and has great historical significance and is a big tourist center!
Other towns in the province include Gorna Oryahovitsa, which is within 10 kilometres of Veliko Tarnovo, Svishtov, set on Danube River and famous for its Tsenovo Academy of Economics, and Suhindol, the hometown of Lovico — an internationally recognised label for fine wines and spirits.
Another notable place is the village of Arbanasi, set between Veliko Tarnovo and Gorna Oryahovitsa. The village of Arbanasi is a unique ensemble of fortified stone-made houses and richly painted churches. Very valuable are the architectural monuments of the National Revival period – a multitude of churches, monasteries and houses that were built by talented Bulgarian masters.
The largest number of churches and monasteries in Bulgaria is in Veliko Tarnovo Region which is a very good condition for the development of pilgrimage tourism. The combination of old style and modern architecture, as well as its churches and monasteries, present the spirit of Bulgaria.
The numerous cultural monuments, the rich and diverse fauna and thermal waters in the area provide excellent conditions for cultural and hunting tourism along with medical and balneological tourism. Real estate is among the most expensive in the country.
The Village:
The village is situated in a very nice area just a few kilometers away from Veliko Tarnovo city. It is very presentable and well organised village and is prefered location for the rich people in Veliko Tarnovo for living and recreation. At present there are more than 1 200 people living in there. There are several shops, several pubs and coffee shops, a medical center, a school and nursery. The bus stop is in the central part of the village and there are connections to the city on every 30 minutes! It is only 15 minutes drive to get to the nearest Veliko Tarnovo shopping mall. There is an existing airport in Gorna Orjahovitsa and a train station. The seacoast is only 180 miles from the property. The roads are excellent and it takes maximum 2 and a half hours to get to Varna sea coast! There are several very expensive properties in the village and the average price of the properties in the village are at about 45 000 GBP! |
