Completed in 2003 so everything is relatively new, all construction work on the development is complete and landscaping is well established.
The house is a two bedroom two bathroom property referred to as the 'Granada' model. It is fully furnished to a high standard. There is air conditioning, a double bed, two single beds, dining furniture, two sofas (one of which is a fully sprung sofa bed), tv with satellite and dvd player, oven, fridge, washing machine, and all other equipment down to the last spoon! There is also patio furniture and loungers. The furniture is high quality, but fairly neutral, and so would appeal to most people's tastes. Gas for the water heating and cooker is supplied by mains pipe from community tanks (no heavy bottles to move!).
The layout of the house incorporates a balcony to the main bedroom, as well as a roof terrace with views to the Mar Menor and La Manga. The house has a front garden with patio, and is one of the best orientated houses on the complex as it has a rear garden area that is not overlooked or adjacent to a road. Therefore this dual aspect allows sun or shade at any time of day! Of course the private roof solarium has all day sunshine. The rear garden is screened by hedging and has been gravelled for ease of maintenance. It adjoins a landscaped area of palm trees, shrubs, and flowers and provides a lovely sunny spot for breakfast or morning relaxation. The front patio and balcony face to the west giving lovely afternoon and evening sunshine with beautiful sunsets as a backdrop to drinks or barbeques. Ground level outside spaces are particularly useful to parents concerened about small children playing on high balconies. All gardens are maintained by the community gardener, and the residents association is careful to ensure that the landscaping is carefully developed.
The house is quite close to the shared community pool, but is in a peaceful location overlooking a protected area of trees. The neighbours are a mix of permanent residents and holiday home owners. The house has security grills and a burglar alarm linked to a central control. The community has 24 hour security patrols also.
