It is an area of unspoilt natural beauty rich with historic and archeological sites. The passage tombs of Carrowkeel (pre-dating the pyramids by 1500 years) can be seen from the property and there are over 5000 other recorded archaeological sites in close proximity.
Trout, Salmon and Course fishing abound in this lakeland area, Lough Key, Lough Bo and the Shannon-Erne waterway are minutes drive away. Lough Agh (Pike fishing) is only a short walk.
The Atlantic coast, with it's surfing, swimming and secluded beaches is within easy reach.
The property is only minutes from the main Dublin / Sligo road which provides quick access to the nearby towns of Boyle, Carrick-on-Shannon and Sligo.
