Not too far from the plot Skelskaya Stalactite Cave is located. This cave keeps the mysteries of ancient peoples who inhabited Crimea thousands of years ago
Road to the plot is asphalt and only 2 kilometers of last way is mountainous road(supposed old Romans' road) with protective,stone fence at one side and rocky slope(vertical) at the other.Magnificent!
In the canyon on the one side of the road there is a river. Road is absolutely reliable and easy to access in the sense of that there's no traffic and jams and supply for construction activities is simple.
Skelskaya Stalactite Cave is the monument of nature at the hill of Baidarskaya Valley. There are some halls in the cave connected with passages, the second one of which is the biggest and most beautiful. It length makes 80 meters, the height of ”Gothic” cupola reaches 25 meters. The walls are decorated with numerous wandering curtains and ribs and original niches-bath.
Seven meters stalagmite is the sight of Skelskaya Cave. Total length of all galleries in the cave amounts to 570 meters. |
