Do you want to buy a house in a silent willage in northen Sweden. Our house is located in Åsele (www.asele.se or www.asele.nu) in southern Lapland. It´s built in 1947 and it is winterised. The housing area is 130 sq.m, the cellar is 130 sq.m. and on the loft there is a small "summer-room". In the housing area there are 3 bedrooms, 1 livingroom and 1 toilet/shower and the kitchen. In the cellar there are a recreation room, a laundry room and a big store room. Area Information
From our house it takes about 10 minutes to walk to central village with stores, health centre, dentist, library, school, petrol station, bank etc. Åsele is a municipality with big area but small population. Approximately 4000 persons lives in the entire municipality. It's placed between Lycksele (90 kilometres), Vilhelmina (70 kilometres), Dorotea (50 kilometres), Örnsköldsvik (140 kilometres) and Umeå (160 kilometres). It's about 150 kilometres to "the world of the mountains". It's about 130 km to nearest trainstation and 65 km to nearest airport. The river Ångermanälven is flowing through Åsele and in the area there are many lakes and ponds with different kinds of fishes, e.g. perch, pike and in some places salmon trout and char. Most of landscape consist of woodland (most nedle). Elk hunt is a common hobby for the locality in autumns. Reindeers are ordinary eyesight in the area particular in winters.
