Vivari is a small tourist resort and its natural sheltered bay lends itself to sailing boats during the summer and the beach tavernas are popular for fresh fish. Local amenities are found in the neighbouring Drepano.
There are a choice of beaches in the area Vivari, Plaka, Candia, Kastraki, Kondili, Iria and Tolo are all within a few kilometres of each other and the wonderful historic town of Nafplion is just 15 minutes away by car.
