Walk through the garden gate into the 'secret garden'. People are always suprised when told of the garden in the back- no-one realises it is there. A very tall stone wall hides you away from the world.Running along this wall is a narrow planted area with climbers and perenials** for easy maintainance. A total suntrap and sunworshippers heaven this paved garden/yard is perfect. There are two sheds-his n hers, giving ample storage space for the BBQ and sunloungers etc. The garden continues all the way round the back to the dining room window. The sun starts in the front in the morning and works its way round the house to the dining room area by early evening. Excellent social area for family eating and entertaining .

There is a discreet area for storing the three wheelie bins we use in Allerdale for rubbish, paper and garden waste. We have two water butts for watering the garden.

The back garden area has two tall garden gates which when locked from the inside make it an ideal play area- we leave our dogs in here thru the day in summer months and also have a homemade kennel for their comfort.

There is a communal gated passage to the rear of the our neighbours houses accessed from Blencathra Street. This is mainly used for taking wheelie bins out and isnt regularly used.

Parking is on the roadside. At present this is not a disc area and does not have resident parking but we have not had any problems parking our two cars and work van in the vicinity.

If I could pick up this house and take it with me to France I would!
