The village of Stokeinteignhead incorporates the hamlets of both Lower and Higher Gabwell, which are within one mile of the coast and situated in glorious countryside within 5 miles of towns of Teignmouth, Torquayand Newton Abbot. Exeter and the M5 motorway are only approximately 18 miles away. The local village amenities include a primary school and a village inn.
