| East Horrington is a small, friendly village with a primary school (10m walk,as is the main bus route to Bath) and cricket club (nearest pub 15m walk), 3m drive from the cathedral of city of Wells.There are wonderful country walks on the doorstep and a breaktaking view of the Somerset Levels and Glastonbury Tor just a few moments' walk away. Easy commuting to Bath (30m), Bristol, Shepton Mallet etc. via A37. Wells has excellent shops, twice-weekly farmers' markets, restaurants, leisure centre and cinema. There are 2 golf clubs 2m and 5m drive away. Wells Blue School, Wells Cathedral School, Millfield and Strode College are within easy reach. The cottage is on a small road which up until quite recently could be described as a country lane but now has a little too much traffic. However, it is still relatively tranquil. |
