Area Information |
| Blacktoft is a very small quiet country village and there is a pub and church located in the village. The property is opposite Blacktoft Sands, one of the top RSPB sites, and therefore you can see all sorts of birds around the village and in your garden. Our stables are home to a number of swallows who return each year to raise a new family. Amongst other things to watch out for, there is usually a pair of Barn Owls living in the owl box at the end of the lane opposite the orchard. There are local shops & schools located in Gilberdyke, Howden & Goole. The nearest train stations are at Gilberdyke (approx 4 miles) or Broomfleet (also approx 4 miles).
Although the village is remote & peaceful, you are also close to the M62 via Howden or the A63 via Hull. |
