“Masseria Lizza” is an authentic 16th italian country house/farm, it is at 4 km. from the baroque town of Lecce and 6 km from the Adriatic sea. The construction has an area of 850 M2 and is surrounded by 10.000 M2 of land with plenty secular olive trees and fruit trees, which make up a fascinating and unique atmosphere. The walls and ceilings are typical of the constructions of those times in the area of Salento: thick walls to prevent it from cold and heat and vaulted 5-metres-high ceilings which sometimes typically take the shape of a star.
The farm lies between the baroque, fascinating town of Lecce and the marvellous salento coastline. It is at 42 km. from the international Brindisi airport, and at 6 from Lecce-Bari-Pescara-Milan motorway. The area is mainly plain land with olive trees and dry stone property-boundary walls, altough the last buildings of Lecce are not so far away. Two well maintained roads connect the "masseria" with Lecce and the sea.
