A detached villa of some 500m˛ within a 3,640m˛ plot, a 110m˛ guest house, a swimming pool, gardens and car park.
The main house consists of two storeys and a basement: -
1. The ground floor covers an area of 239m˛ with 206m˛ of usable space comprising a large Entrance Hall, a very large split level lounge/dining room (55m˛), a billiard room/library (28m˛), toilet, a large and completely new kitchen (26m˛), laundry, pantry, office or additional bedroom (13m˛), a conservatory at the front (46m˛) and a covered veranda (23m˛) at the rear. The main door to the house is new and made of solid teak (as strong as a reinforced door), the exterior woodwork of Oregon pine and all the windows of the house are double-glazed, sound-proof white pvc.
The electrical, plumbing and sanitary installations are all totally new and of first-class quality (there is a 380v circuit for the air conditioning, pumps, irrigation and swimming pool).
The house is fitted with a burglar alarm in good working order connected to a central station.
There is an enormous garden, fully stocked with trees, bushes and flowers. There is a pine tree over 100 years old, a plum tree, a jacaranda, 3 cedars, 7 palm trees of different varieties and sizes, 2 olive trees (one over 100 years old), 4 lemon trees, 3 pomegranates, 1 loquat tree, 1 mimosa, 5 orange trees, bougainvillea, jasmine, banana trees, lavender, rosemary, daisies, geraniums, carnations, etc. There are 12 varieties of roses in rose gardens spread throughout the garden and many other plants that I don’t know the name of. All the plot is surrounded by conifer hedges and cypresses that separate it from the neighbouring plots.
The entire garden is watered by automatic sprinklers and drip irrigation. There is new lighting covering the whole garden, the pathways are fitted with an automatic on/off system and the rest is manual.
There is a huge 15 x 9 metre swimming pool with nocturnal lighting that was totally renovated 5 years ago and a large purification installation housing totally automatic salt chlorination and pH regulation systems.
There is an old tennis court (built by a previous owner) that my daughter currently uses as a playground, and it would need some slight renovation work to return it to its original use.
From the rear of the house there is a beautiful view over the Torrijas Estate, with various villages in the distance, whilst the front has views of the complex itself, which is full of trees and foliage. The roads of the Estate are fairly wide and negotiable even when there are cars parked on both sides.

Close to the house, a few kilometres by car, there are petrol stations, supermarkets, state and private schools, El Corte Inglés, the Hospital San Juan de Dios, a doctor’s surgery, kindergartens, a park, shopping centres with cinema complexes, a MacDonald’s, a bowling alley, restaurants, bars, etc., with a Factory outlet (shops selling previous season brand-names) nearby. |
