We bought this French Longere about five years ago with the intention of relocating to France to live when our children left school and went to University etc. However we have since decided to stay in Devon and have started up our own nursery business growing and selling chillies. The house is too big to keep as just a holiday home and really deserves to be renovated and enjoyed by a family, therefore it is with much regret that we have decided to sell it.
We looked at about 30 or so properties with land as we have ponies and fell in love with this one, it is at the end of a very quiet cul de sac, the land surrounds the property and although it is in a rural location the pretty town of Guer is closeby with lots of facilities. There is swimming and other watersport activities available at one of the two lakes at Carentoir about 2 miles away, cycling, riding and walking can be enjoyed on many of the country lanes surrounding the property.
We have a local English family about half a mile from the property who hold the key and would be able to advise on the area etc. We have also listed the property with a couple of agents and anyone who wants to view would be advised to contact the agents directly who can show you round.
We have recently dropped the price but would consider realistic offers
