Hamilton is just 13 minutes away for shopping. Missoula , home of the University of Montana, is just 45 minutes away for your larger shopping needs or your children’s education. The famous Bitterroot River, one of the last vestiges of large Native American Cutthroat Trout, is just 20 minutes away and a world renowned for its fly fishing. Como Lake is just 25 minutes south with a good population of Rainbow Trout, Cutthroat Trout and Kokanee Salmon. The largest natural lake west of the rocky mountain chain, Flathead Lake, is just 2 and 1/2 hours north for boating and fishing for very large Macinkaw Lake Trout. My wife caught a 38 1/2“ Lake Trout with a 27” girth last year. Snow skiing is just 45 minutes away at Lost Trail Ski Resort on the Idaho border where there is never a lift line.
