Area Information
La Tzoumaz is nestled in a pretty, green side valley on the left side of the Rhone at an altitude of 1500m. The valley lies about halfway between Martigny and Sion. La Tzoumaz is ideally situated for winter sports. As a valley station of the Savoleyres cable-car it allows access to magnificent runs where it is possible to ski until the end of April. A wide variety of ski tows, chair lifts and cable-cars, provide connections to Verbier and other resorts in the 4 Valleys region. It forms one of the largest ski areas in Switzerland offering over 400 km of runs and 100 lift installations.
