The front of the house has space for two cars. There is a large veranda at the front with a bench. This is great for getting out of wet clothes before entering the house. The house has a hallway that runs through to the back door. There are coat hooks here and space to store wet shoes. We think that the small alcove to the left as you go in the front door was originally where the bar was. On either side of the hall are two living rooms. Both are equipped with te*ions and the larger room has a working fireplace. Coal can be purchased from the grocers across the road or a number of local merchants. At the rear of the ground floor is dining room with large table and seating for 8 people. There is a large kitchen that has been fully modernised, complete with electric hob and oven, microwave, kettle, fridge/ freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. Toucan Blue Toucan Blue is a four bedroom beachfront house with large deck for outdoor living. It is decorated in fresh, lively colors of the Caribbean with photos of various Roatan scenes placed throughout the house. Ceiling fans and air conditioning are available in each room. While staying at Toucan Blue you can enjoy the options of TV, VCR/DVD, stereo/CD player with indoor/outdoor speakers, and wireless internet access. kitchen dining to kitchen The bright, open main floor of the house has hardwood floors and tall ceilings. It features the living area, full kitchen, dining area, a half bath, and huge covered deck space. Views of the sea and barrier reef provide the picture perfect scene as you gaze out the windows or enjoy the scene from the deck. A tiled bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and shower is located between two of the bedrooms. It's a great place to relax with morning coffee, and the barbeque grill brings cooking outdoors. It's also a perfect place to listen to the soft waves breaking against the reef and for star gazing at night. entertainment size deck deck 2 The laundry room has a new full size washer and dryer for your use and convenience. A refreshing shower is located near the front entrance to wash off the sand and salt from the sea before entering the main rooms of the house. Upstairs there are four bedrooms. Three are equipped with double beds and the fourth has two single beds. All beds come complete with duvets and bed linen is provided. For the more cold blooded types all beds have electric blankets. There is a separate toilet and bathroom. The toilet is also equipped with a washbasin and the bathroom has a bath with electric shower. Outside there is a fully enclosed garden with outbuildings including an outside toilet (fine in summer but only for the brave in winter). In 2006 the house finally got full central heating thanks to installation of oil fired system, with radiators in all rooms (including the toilet!!).
