We've moved. Our beloved three bedroom two full bathroom home of 13 years has spacious rooms*, tin ceilings, hand painted kitchen tile, French doors, fireplace, 2 decks and pine plank flooring. Located in a very private country setting just at the town limits, it is for most a 4 minute walk to the regional hospital. See http://users.eastlink.ca/~familymacdonald/housetour.htm for more photos of the house.
Used successfully as a small hobby farm (sheep, chickens, ducks) until 2008; there are three outbuildings, two ponds, river frontage, stone walls, and 5 pagewire fenced acres - see http://users.eastlink.ca/~familymacdonald/index.htm - look at each sheep breed for photos of the paddocks, fields and river.
Exterior painted with Olympic Stain in 2007, new roof with laminated top of the line shingles in 2006; in 2005, completely rewired with a new entrance, the oil furnace removed and electric thermal storage heat installed (see NS Power Web about ETS and time of day electricity savings program). We invested in improvements annually -ask for a list.
*Room size: Six main rooms are 15' x 15' (three bedrooms, living room, dining room and kitchen), family room is 10' x 15', up and downstairs hallways are 7' x 15', upstairs bath is 15' x 9'. Most rooms have two large windows.
