| Situated within level walking distance to the quiet, picturesque Arsos village in Limassol wine district and lower foothills of Troodos. Very good local roads, hardly any traffic and there is no crime.
Elevation 800 meters. A wonderful seasonal climate away from coastal humidity and city pollution, traffic, tourists and mosquitoes.
Arsos village has an interesting history and hosts a museum, community surgery and the lovely 12th century Byzantine Saint Phillip Church, which stands in the centre of the village. There are three shops, a grocery, co-op, bakery plus coffee shops, community office and banking.
Ten minutes away are villages of Omodos, with its cottage hospital, the Monastery of Stavros (Holy Cross), and other tourist attractions, Vasa, Malia, Ayios Nicholas and Pachna which all have eating places including some very good restaurants. Paphos airport and Limassol are less than 45 minutes away.
