We are looking for a property that will allow us to follow a dream of running a small B&B type establishment with enough ground to form a small campsite.
Ideally, we would like somewhere that is remote but accessible by car. Stunning views would be a bonus, but I don't want to ask for too much!
We have no preference as to the house. It can be anything from a complete renovation project to something that can be moved into straight away. Stylewise again there is no preference, though we do like older, more traditional houses.
One thing that is important is the land that is with the property. We do need at least half an acre to form the campsite.
The next issue would be the budget! We do still have a house to sell first and in the current climate this is proving difficult so the budget to purchase the new property would definately have to be below 150k.
The area we would prefer would be Oban and surrounding but will consider anywhere from Perthshire, Stirlingshire to the whole of Argyll.
