The nearest bigger town is Châteauroux at 30 km (supermarkts, movie theatre, hospital,...).
The surroundings do not receive many tourists yet but tat is improving; lots of beautiful sights to be seen quietly. Perfect for long walks and bike tours or educating your children in an unspoiled, uncriminal environment.
It is a 3 hours drive from Paris (or a very comfortable trip by train, even faster).
