This old village house has been renovated and extended, and could be occupied immediately. However, some finishing work is required in the extension, and the old part of the property would benefit from some tweaking to make a fully comfortable home, with up to three bedrooms possible!
The house is located in the upper part of the village of Ano Korakiana and has an absolutely fantastic view all the way to the sea. The main village parking is about 100 metres away. It has a large walled yard (currently an easily demolished chicken coop) which would make a lovely, private patio with a nice view.
The old part of the house is on three floors, the ground floor comprising a kitchen and bathroom. Also at this level is the new extension, which has two good-sized rooms requiring finishing work. The middle floor is currently a large, airy lounge with a door out into a small yard at the rear. At present the top floor (which is new) is laid out as two bedrooms and a toilet. The interior walls are wood and could easily be removed to make one big master bedroom.
The main task in this three-floor section would be the replacement of the staircase, which is a very steep and impossibly narrow spiral. Depending on the needs of a buyer, the house could have three bedrooms - one in the rear room of the extension, one on the middle floor (walled from the landing which would have to be created for a proper stair) and one on the top floor. The house would still have a large lounge (the front one of the two unfinished rooms), and a separate, albeit smallish kitchen. However, should a buyer need only two bedrooms, the middle floor lends itself to a very nice lounge - with access from the rear as well as from the kitchen, and no need for an internal wall.
This is a bargain price for a house of this size - and one that could be occupied immediately.
