About this 2 - Unusual
Due to an impending move to Argyll and not being able to sell our house here in Forfar we are now in a bit of a predicament.
While we are happy to rent temporarily, we would ideally like to buy a property. Unfortunately we'll not currently be able to raise any more mortgage finanace as the house in Forfar is currently mortgaged. This house is currently let though.
We are thinking the the best course of action would be to agree a price for your property now, but rent it for 12/24 months which would the cover the "deposit" at the end of this initial period.
Ideally we are looking for a rural property that requires some work, although we understand we cant be too fussy.
We will happily settle for a small flat in Campbletown. The imprtant thing would be that the figures do add up.
We would obviously urge that any deal done is legal, above board and actioned vis our solicitor.
If you're struggling to sell your property then this may a be a decent option for you.
Thank you.
