A rod in perpetuity on the beautiful Craigellachie beat, Week 26 (wc 4th August in 2014).
Craigellachie is arguably the most scenic Salmon fishing beat on the Spey. The historic 1814 Telford Bridge provides a magnificent backdrop to the Bridge pool.
Purchase of a Week 26 rod entitles the owner to fish the early August week at Craigellachie in perpetuity. This is summer fishing at its best. This rod alone has netted the owner an average of 6 fish for the week in recent years.
The fishings extend to approximately 2½ miles. There are 2 beats, each of which is fished every day with changeover at 1pm. Each beat has a well appointed fishing hut with flushing toilet. The fishings include the services of 2 experienced Ghillies (one on each of the two beats) and owners have the use of a boat.
The Spey is almost unique in that the 2nd, 4th, 6th etc. fish may be retained.
