This excellent plot of 230 acres reclaimed land with fantastic sea view and wide sea-frontage is situated at Klebang, Melaka which is located very near to the business district in Melaka.  And it is accessible from Melaka City which is about 5km from Melaka Raya, a commercial development which houses prominent landmarks such as Mahkota Parade, Mahkota Medical Centre, Mahkota Hotel, Hotel Holiday Inn, Hotel Equatorial and Dataran Merdeka.  The neigbourhood is intensively developed with residential schemes. ABOUT MELAKA

The state of Melaka covers an area of 1,650-sq. km. or 1.3 percent of the whole area of Malaysia. The state is divided into 3 districts, that is Central Melaka (Melaka Tengah) (314 km²), Alor Gajah (660 km²), and Jasin (676 km²).

Melaka is located on the south western coast of Malay Peninsula opposite Sumatra, with the state of Negeri Sembilan to the north and Johor to the east. Melaka is also situated roughly two-thirds of the way down the West coast, 148 km south of Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia and 245 km north of Singapore and commanding a central position on the Straits of Melaka. The state capital Melaka Town is strategically located between the two national capitals (of Malaysia and Singapore respectively) and is linked with excellent roads and highways. Melaka is yet to have its own train station, though the terminal at Tampin, Negeri Sembilan is easily accessible. It has a domestic airport terminal located in Batu Berendam.

Benalec Sdn Bhd is one of Malaysia’s top notch home-grown marine engineering contractors specializing in dredging, land reclamation and rock revetment works.

The Company has secured the land reclamation concession to reclaim 230 acres at Klebang, Melaka, Malaysia.  All the necessary approvals have been approved by the authority.  The Company commenced the reclamation works by end of July 2007 and works are expected to complete by end 2008. The development is expected to commence in early 2009.
