| Klenovec is a village and municipality in the Rimavská Sobota District of the Banská Bystrica Region of southern Slovakia, on both sides Klenovská Rimava. Klenovec agricultural community is characterized by very large cadastral territory with an area of 10,000 ha. The village is situated at an altitude of 322 meters with a population of 3267. The source Rimava flows through the valley, north Veporske surrounding hills, and above all the massive off Klenovský vepor. Klenovec belongs to Gemer. Cadastral area is very large. Its area - 10 000 ha is among the highest in Slovakia. Klenovec known folk tradition.
