Amersfoort is situated in the heart of the Netherlands, the cadastral centre. West and South are forest regions with some hills. North is a big lake with lots of water sport facilities. The infrastructure is fantastic both for car and train. there are many special bike roads. A great place to live and (international)work. To Schiphol Amsterdam Airport it's only 35 minutes by train. Germany is 45 minutes driving and Belgium a bit more than 1 hour. On a 5 minutes walk you will find a shopping centre and an In-and Outdoor sport centre. To London or Copenhagen it tool me 2 hours door-door! Working Internationally or in a big city in the Netherlands and enjoying living far from hectic.
