| Koh Mak covers approximately 16sqkm and was rated by the Sunday Times in October 2006 as one of the World's Top 20 Secret Beach Destinations. It can be easily reached from the mainland and Koh Chang by regular boat services.
The island has very little traffic and most people get around by scooter or bicycle. In addition to beaches, kayaking, MTB trails, snorkelling and scuba diving are the main attractions. Not an island to live on if you enjoy shopping, but definitely one if you want a hideaway holiday home to escape to. |
