| Kaikoura is on the central East coast of the South Island of New Zealand. Christchurch is the largest city in the South Island and is approx. 2 1/2 hours drive south of Kaikoura. Christchurh has an International Airport. Blenheim, approx. 1 1/2 hours drive north of Kaikoura is a busy provincial town in a major wine growing area and has a Domestic Airport. Kaikoura has a moderate climate and doesnt experience bad winters. It is a beautiful out door area and the centre of whale, dolphin and seal watching. |
