| The property is located southeast of Edmonton- 45 minutes from the city center. There are farms, rolling hills and lots of wilderness area all around. There are so many kinds of birds all year round, this is a birdwatchers dream! Hummingbirds, gold finches, bluebirds, robins, raptors of all sorts- even bald eagles. There are cedar waxwings, red polls, chickadees, sparrows, wrens, orioles, nuthatches, flickers, blue jays and so many more.
Less than 10 minutes away is Miquelon Lake Provincial Park with hiking and biking trails, swimming, mini-golf and camping. The entire park has been totally refurbished and is a beautiful place for summer visitors to camp at. The acreage itself is also perfect for camping, whether tenting or in an RV.
