| The area is known for excellent grapes and wines as well as fruits and vegetables, with mild winters and hot but not unpleasantly so summers. The property is some 40 min driving from the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia, along the country’s best highway. Less then 30 min. drive to Plovdiv, Bulgaria’s second biggest city along the same highway.
The town of Pazardjik is only 15 km away and offers all shopping facilities, plus many cafes, restaurants, theater, cinemas, a great open air market and host of other things associated with a large town. The mountain spa resort of Velingrad in the beautiful Rhodopa Mountains is 45 km away and getting there by car is a very pleasant experience, especially if you have a convertible. If you continue for another 20 km you reach lake Batak and the mountain resort of Tzigov Chark. All in all the location of the property is great. |
