Brive la Gaillarde is a 60 000 inhabitants town which takes benefits from its situation : crossroad of highways (Toulouse-Paris and Bordeaux-Lyon) . It is in expansion. An airport exists, but another is almost finished at 20 km, which will be international ( direct flights from London), between Limousin and Périgord, near Souillac and Sarlat.
The nearest bigger towns are Limoges at 100 km and Toulouse at 150 km :
It is all year long a touristic, gastronomic ( reknown typical market place ) and cultural place. The weather is nice : « le Portail du Midi » ( « the door of Riviera » ), a pretty and dynamic city in the almost unspoiled Correze, who willingly welcome foreign people ! ( example : Corrèze English www.famillesdefrance19.org )
Migoule is at the middle of a gentle slope : a pretty open view on the trees of the vale. ( houses are almost hidden by them) .
The district is nice, green and calm, and the manor itself is half-hidden, isolated and protected thanks to the access by a shared dead-end alley and by the park itself .
The whole land around is already and definitely built and the neighbourhood is careful and sympathetic.
The district is in demand : some minutes by bike or car, - either bus which is not far- and you are in the center of Brive ( 3 km), but, at only 200 m, little council-woods offer quick walks…
Within a radius of 500 m you find a College, two bakers, a chemist’s shop ; in less than 1 km, 2 kinder-gartens and 2 primary schools, many shops, hypermarkets, cinema, mending-shops, sport-lands and swimming-pool, garden-center , etc. Hospital et and private hospital.
